O.O

I have been looking for a specific glaze for quite some time and I would say that part of my curiosity about making glazes stems from this one particular glaze. It was a glaze that mayco made a long time ago called “hyacinth”

I used to be madly in love with this glaze and I couldn't figure out how they produce it with the current array of oxides and carbonates on the market. In fact that one stock that they had carbonates and oxides that the normal person doesn't have access to. now that I understand how to make pink and I also understand how to make a brownish melt it becomes very very obvious to me that the combination of erubium oxide and rutile might be the answer.
