The plan

as I start trying to streamline my stuff a little bit more I slowly start to realize why other Potters move into a production style. I clearly don't want to become a production potter but I feel like my efforts need to be concentrated a little bit more toward the singular project or way of thinking at a time. because of this I think it would be beneficial to start picking a standard for every upload, what I mean by a standard is one thing that I plan to experiment with or dedicate my time to so that I can get better at that particular skill or style.

For this month I have started to concentrate on carving mugs and texture. This means that when I sit down to throw I'm going to throw 10 or 20 mugs with the same exact type of shape. It's also should help the people that constantly tell me they want to buy a different version of what I have but only saw one of its type. While I do like and enjoy that my pieces are more so one of a kind rather than one of 20 I also would like to make my life a little bit easier and tune down the mental tax it takes to just sit down and do what I enjoy doing.
